Crowley: Animal adaptation for a specific environment

The Electric Eel (Electrophorus electricus) is adapted for its freshwater lake/stream/estuary environments in South America. A nocturnal and poor-eyesighted creature, it remains hidden in the mud at the bottom of the water and can detect/locate its prey by electrolocation (with electrical signals).42.35889, -71.05083

The Winter Flouder (Pleuronectes americanus) is adapted to its aquatic environment by blending in with the rocks present. It is speckled like the rocks and camouflages with its environment to avoid predators.
