Egan: Turgid vs. Flaccid Organism

Hydrangea
 Hydrangea macrophylla

 42.263399,-71.609452
Turgid Organism: I know this is a turgid organism because in order for the plant to be standing so tall, its cells must be swollen with water and nutrients.

42.244706,-71.632622
Flaccid Organism: I know this is a flaccid organism because the droopiness of the branches and the shriveled nature of the pedals prove the plant's cells must be limp and drained of moisture and nutrients.
