An example of dominant vs. recessive phenotypes can be found in the fur colors of the endangered Bengal Tiger. The top photograph shows a Bengal Tiger with the dominant phenotype, orange fur with black stripes. The bottom photograph shows what is usually called the White Tiger, which is a Bengal Tiger with the recessive phenotype for fur color, white with black stripes.
