Ying: Tropism

A tropism can be defined as "a growth response that results in the curvature of whole plant organs toward or away from stimuli".

These two organisms are exhibiting phototropism, tropism in which the stimuli is light. Both trees have oriented the growth of their branches behind the house in order to receive more direct sunlight at an abnormal angle
