HChen: Homeostasis of an organism
Geochelone elephantopus, 38.928901,-77.049397
Iguana iguana 38.928901,-77.049397
Since both the giant tortise(Geochelone elephantopus) and the green iguana(Iguana iguana) are exothermic, they use heat from their surroundings to keep warm and in these cases maintain certian levels of homeostasis. In the first picture, the three tortises are under the heat lamps in their exhibit. In the second picture the heating vent is hidden underneath the iguana, but the concept of its heating itself with its surroundings is still present.
