Krishnan: Mutalism


The Madagascar Hissing Cockroach (Gromphadorhina portentosa) contains tiny mites ( Gromphadorholaelaps schaeferi) on their body. These mite thrive off the dust and debries in the breathing valves of the cockroach. This benefits the cockroach by cleaning the valves allowing it to breath. Found at 42.064727, -71.580996.
