Lactase - Enzyme

Function: Lactase is an enzyme that breaks down lactose, a sugar found in dairy products.


Albumen - Ovalbumin (egg white) - Storage

Function: Ovalbumin, a protein found in egg white, stores energy and nutrients.


Spider Silk - Structural
Source: Unknown species of spider, but since the web appears to be a tangle web instead of an orb web, the spider is most like of the family theridiidae.

Hemoglobin - Transport

Function: Hemoglobin is a transport protein found in many organisms, including humans, that transports oxygen. O2 binds to the iron in the hemoglobin.
