Byrne: Plants Using Animals for Seed Dispersal

Tall Hairy Agrimony (Agrimonia gryposepala)

The Tall Hairy Agrimony (Agrimonia gryposepala) produces seeds with hooks along the outside. These hooks attach to the fur of animals that brush the plants, and the animals transport the seeds without knowing.
