Ganesh: Animal Adaptation for a specific Environment
Giraffa Camelopardis reticulate
Source: 42.096184,-71.583
The Giraffe's have long necks which are an adaptation to their environment as it allows them to feed amongst the treetops.
Camelus Bactrainus
Source: 42.096184,-71.583
Camel's have adapted to their environment with the use of humps. Because they are in the desert they need to store energy and fat for long periods of time.

Humphries: Energy Transfers
This is an example of the energy transfer of potential energy to kinetic energy. The ball contains potential energy at first however, as the ball falls to the floor the potential energy is being transferred into kinetic energy.
The batteries in the back of a remote contain chemical energy. When the remote is being used the chemical energy in the batteries, is being transferred into electrical energy

Spofford: Parasitism
The tomato hornworm, Manduca quinquemaculata, and a species of bracnoid wasps, Cotesia congregatus, display parasitism because the wasp lays its eggs within the caterpillar. The larvae feed on the hornworm and eat their way out where they spin cocoons, the white things that can be seen attatched to the hornworm. Once the wasps emerge from the cocoons, the hornworm will die because it was already weakened by the larvae feeding on it.
