Krishnan: Altruistic Behavior

Altruistic Behavior is animals benefiting another without benefiting themselves. It is similar to genuine concern.    Altruism is exhibited by the Blue Throated Macaw (*Ara glaucogularis*) (picture on the bottom) grooming each other and by the Patas Monkey (*Erythrocebus patas*) (picture on top) picking bugs out of each others' backs. Both are found at South Wick Zoo (42.0647272,  -71.580996)
