Kruse: Organisms in the same order but different families

All of the following organisms were found in my backyard on or near my bird feeder at the exact location of  42.256596,-71.637109. The order of all of these organisms is Passeriformes, or perching songbirds.

The photo above is of an American Robin, or Turdus migratorius. The American Robin is a member of the Turdidae family.



The picture above is of a Tufted Titmouse, or Baeolophus bicolor. The Tufted Titmouse is a member of the Paridae family.


The picture above is of a Common Grackle, or Quiscalus quiscula. The Common Grackle is a member of the Icteridae family.


The picture above is of two House Finches, or Carpodacus mexicanus.  The House Finch is a member of the Fringillidae family.


The picture above is of a Northern Cardinal, or Cardinalis cardinalis. The Northern Cardinal is a member of the Cardinalidae family.
