Hingorany: Instinctual Behavior

This is a Red Kangaroo, or Macropus rufus, located at N42'27.2, W071'07.25. When a baby kangaroo, or a joey, is born, it instinctively climbs into it's mother's belly pouch where it can access her mammary glands and complete its development before moving around on its own.

This is the Mandarin Salamander, Tylototriton shanjing, located at N42'18.2, W071'09.25. These salamanders are nocturnal, so they tend to hide instinctively in cool, dark, and humid places during the day so that they may sleep.
